The world isn't always thrilled with Dennis Hwang's choice of themes. As Times reporter Google took some heat from conservatives for not being more patriotic when it comes to commemorating events -- such as its decision to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Sputnik launch but not Memorial Day or Veterans Day.
