According to the San Francisco Chronicle, 30% of lung-damaging particulates in the Bay Area are blamed on fireplaces. As a result, the regulators in the heavily populated region is taking aim at banning the use of chimneys in your home.. all in the effort to try and bring air quality down to healthier levels.
