The awards season is in dire trouble now. The WGA is refusing to allows its members to write for the Academy Awards or Golden Globe presentations and has denied waiver requests from both the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (for the Globes) and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (for the Oscars).
